Man Assaulted, Attempted Robbery In Road Rage Incident: Newark PD Police are looking for two people after a man was assaulted during a road rage incident in Newark on Tuesday, Sept. 24, authorities said. At 4:50 p.m., a man exited his vehicle at Clinton Avenue and Bergen Street and accused the victim of hitting his car,  Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. The victim got out of his truck to look at damage and when he didn't see any,  the man and a passenger in his vehicle assaulted the victim, punching and kicking him, Fragé said.
