19 Arrested During Targeted Crackdown On Drugs, Guns In Atlantic City: Police Nearly 20 people have been arrested in a major crackdown on drugs and illegal guns in Atlantic City, authorities said. The Atlantic City Police Department announced the 19 arrests in a news release on Wednesday, Nov. 27. A weeks-long operation targeted drug activity and "quality-of-life issues" in the neighborhoods surrounding Florida, Bellevue, and Texas avenues. Naked Man With Gun At Atlantic City Apartment Pleads Guilty, Prosecutors Say A Glassboro man admitted to having a gun when he was found naked at a downtown Atlantic City apartment building, authorities said. Forrest Graves, 36, pleaded guilty on Friday, Oct. 25 to second-degree unlawful possession of a handgun, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. Atlantic City police responded to the Best of Life Park Apartments on South Virginia Avenue at around 12:10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17. The building is near Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.
