Vernon Woman Falsely Claimed Her Car Was Stolen: Franklin PD A 54-year-old Vernon resident was arrested last month after she falsely told police her car was stolen, authorities said. On Saturday, Sept. 28, Dawn Flanagan told officers her car was stolen, Franklin police said in a release. Man Arrested After Fleeing Traffic Stop: Franklin Borough Police A 41-year-old Branchville resident was arrested on Saturday, July 6, after he fled a traffic stop in Franklin Borough, authorities said. While officers were initially approaching his vehicle, Shaun Cancelliere drove away and managed to elude law enforcement, Franklin Borough police said in a release.
