Authorities on Friday, Nov. 22, named Brandon Lee Ortega as the individual who died following a foot chase with Guttenberg police on Tuesday, Nov. 12. The incident began around 11:02 p.m. when officers responded to 68th Street and Bellevue Avenue for a reported disturbance. Brooklyn Man Had $1600 In Counterfeit Cash: Denville PD A Brooklyn man was arrested and charged in Denville on Wednesday, July 3, for having counterfeit money, police said. Officers responded to a business on Broadway on a report of a man, Marquise Fleming, 31, attempting to make a purchase with a fraudulent $100 bill, Denville police said in a release. Fleming fled from officers but was apprehended following a foot chase, police said. While searching him, police found him in possession of 16 fraudulent $100 bills, officers said.
