Drunk Denville Woman Involved In Crash, Had Pills: Police A 60-year-old Denville woman was arrested and charged after she drove drunk and was involved in a crash on Saturday, Sept. 14, authorities said. Police responded to Righter Avenue for a report of a crash and found Maureen Beekman, one of the drivers in the crash, to be under the influence of liquor and/or drugs, Denville police said in a release. Beekman failed field sobriety tests and was arrested, police said. Beekman was then arrested and found to be in possession of prescription pills without having the proper prescription, police said. Lyndhurst officers spotted Jose R. Reyes in a stolen 2022 Isuzuz box truck around 6:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, Lyndhurst Police Detective Lt. Vincent Auteri said.
