Whippany Man, 35, Found Lying Next To Crashed Mercedes Benz Dies: Police A 35-year-old Whippany man was killed in a car crash on Route 202 in Branchburg on Tuesday, Feb. 18, authorities said. At 10:08 p.m., officers responded to a single-car collision at Route 202 and Whiton Road and found a 2024 blue Mercedes Coupe overturned, Branchburg police said.  The driver was located lying on the ground next to the vehicle, police said. The Mercedes was travelling northbound on Route 202 when it entered the grass median and struck a drainage basin which projected the vehicle to a point where it rolled over and eventually struck a traffic light, police said. NJ Luxury Car Trafficking Ring Dismantled, Four Arrests Made, Prosecutor Says Four teenagers were arrested on Thursday, Sept. 12 and charged for their participation in an auto theft trafficking network in North Jersey, authorities said. Video Shows Arrest Of DUI Driver Who Rammed Luxury Car Into NJ Utility Pole, Fled Newly released bodycam footage shows a July 2024 arrest of a DUI driver with a history of traffic offenses who fled the scene of a crash in Monmouth County. Transparency Bodycam published footage of the crash on July 22, involving a white 2017 Mercedes GLE that had struck a pole on Mitchell Place near Oakes Road in Little Silver.
