Lanes Closed After Truck Jackknifes On Route 53 A jackknifed tractor trailer has snarled traffic on Route 53 in Morris County on the morning of Tuesday, Dec. 10. At 8:18 a.m., a tractor trailer jackknifed on Route 53 northbound in the area of Route 80 in Denville Township, the New Jersey Department of Transportation said. All lanes are closed, NJDOT said.

The crash occurred in the Cedar Lake area, Denville police said in a release. An investigation revealed Mark Johnson was under the influence when the crash occurred, police said. Johnson was charged with driving under the influence, police said.
