Thieves Stole NJ Assemblyman's Car While Family Slept, Police Say A Jersey Shore assemblyman's car was stolen by thieves in Hazlet, authorities said. Assemblyman Paul Kanitra, R-Brick Township, said in a Facebook post that his car was taken from his mother-in-law's house in Hazlet just before 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9. Kanitra was in Washington, D.C. for his work as the owner of the lobbyist firm Lobbyit.com. Kanitra said the thieves drove up to the home in a stolen white BMW with temporary plates. The winning Mega Millions tickets were purchased in the drawing on Friday, Sept. 6, the New Jersey Lottery said in a news release on Monday, Sept. 9. The winners were sold at the E-Z Chek food store on Main Street in Sayreville and the ShopRite supermarket on Route 35 in Hazlet. The winning numbers were 6, 23, 41, 59, and 63. The Mega Ball was 25. A grand jury indicted 32-year-old Ryan Gunsauls of Union Beach on 30 counts, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said in a news release on Tuesday, Aug. 14. The Bethany Road pizzeria threw in a free slice of buffalo chicken, but Portnoy made it abundantly clear, it's not his thing. So much so that he gave it to a nearby fan. PSE&G's outage map shows 5,341 were in the dark in Burlington County and more than 3,000 in Camden. The majority of the outages were in Maple Shade, Moorestown, Haddon and Pennsauken. In Union County, nearly 1,000 had lost power in Westfield. Smaller but more widespread outages were reported on the Jersey Shore, according to JCP&L, specifically in Long Branch, Red Bank, Asbury Park, Hazlet, Middletown, Keansburg, and Matawan.
