Dump Truck Driver Cited For Disregarding A Stop Sign In Fatal South Jersey Crash: Prosecutor
The dump truck driver accused of passing through a stop sign in a fatal crash in Cumberland County has been formally cited, authorities said on Tuesday, July 2. Lamaas Arthur, 55, of Port Norris, received citations for disregarding a stop sign and careless driving, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office. The crash was on Thursday, June 20 in Commercial Township. No criminal charges had been filed as of Tuesday. New Jersey State Police said that Arthur had "numerous motor vehicle violations." First Responders Rescue Watercraft From Delaware River:

First responders rescued a watercraft from the Delaware River in Burlington County on Sunday evening, June 30, authorities said. At about 5 p.m., New Jersey State Police troopers responded to a report of a personal watercraft stuck on a sandbar near Hawk Island in Delanco Township, according to Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron, a NJSP spokesman. The craft was dislodged from the sandbar and escorted to a marina, Lebron said. No injuries were reported. The incident remains under investigation, and no additional information is available, he said.

A tow truck operator was hospitalized after being struck on Interstate 295 in South Jersey by another tow truck while assisting a motorist, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25 on I-295 southbound north of Exit 36 (Route 73) in Mount Laurel Township, according to the NJDOT. 14-Year-Old Bicyclist Critical After Being Struck By Car In South Jersey, State Police Say
A 14-year-old boy is in critical condition after being struck on his bicycle in South Jersey on Friday, June 14, authorities said. The boy was struck by a Dodge around 6:35 p.m. on Route 38 at milepost 19.1 in Southampton, according to New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron.
