4-Car Crash Snarls Traffic On Garden State Parkway
There was a four-car collision during rush hour on Tuesday, July 23 on the Garden State Parkway, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 8:20 a.m. southbound at milepost 131.4 in Woodbridge, according to New Jersey State Police. A 33-year-old Irvington man who had been missing since mid-June was found dead on Sunday, June 30, authorities said. Isaac Bishop had been missing since Tuesday, June 11, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. A tractor-trailer became fully engulfed in flames on New Jersey Turnpike in South Brunswick. New Jersey State Troopers responded to the truck fire on Tuesday, July 2 at 12:40 p.m. on the south outer roadway milepost 77.4 in South Brunswick Township, according to Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron, a State Police spokesman. Upon the trooper’s arrival, the International tractor-trailer was fully engulfed in flames. There were no injuries reported, Lebron said. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and there is no additional information available.

A state trooper was accused of trying to pay for sex from someone he believed was a teen girl and asking for sexual pictures, authorities said.
