A Lindenwold man admitted to committing violent robberies at three corner stores in Philadelphia, authorities said. Jared Stanley, 32, pleaded guilty on Friday, Oct. 11 to three counts of Hobbs Act robbery and one count of carrying, using, and brandishing a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence. A Cumberland County detective was shot and killed during a home invasion in Bridgeton, authorities said. Sgt. Monica Mosley, 51, died late at night on Tuesday, Oct. 15, the Bridgeton Police Department said in a news release. She was a member of the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office. A Delanco Township woman was sedated in a hospital after she was rescued from a roof on her burning home, officials said. Rutgers University police were investigating two attempted burglaries in a dorm on the New Brunswick campus, authorities said. A Camden man was found guilty of killing another man outside a grocery store more than six years ago, authorities said. A jury convicted 44-year-old Shomari Kinard on Thursday, Oct. 10, Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay said in a news release.
