Boil Water Advisory Issued In Parts Of Passaic County Amid Water Main Break American Water has issued a boil water advisory across parts of Passaic County. The advisory was issued Thursday, Aug. 15 at noon to American Water customers across Little Falls and Woodland Park. The advisory was the result of emergency repairs to a water main break on Notchcroft Drive in the Great Notch area of Little Falls.  Any water to used for drinking or cooking should be brought to a rolling boil for one minute. Boil Water Advisory Issued For Thousands Of Passaic, Morris County Residents Thousands of residents across Morris and Passaic counties are urged to boil their water due to high turbidity, or cloudiness, officials said. Officials in both Butler and Bloomingdale made the announcement earlier this week due to "emergent conditions" at the Butler water treatment plant.
