Brick Township Motorcyclist, 46, Dies In Route 72 Crash: State Police A Brick Township man was killed when his motorcycle struck a tree in Burlington County, authorities said. Christopher Elk, 46, died in the crash on Thursday, Oct. 3, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the wreck on Route 72 Eastin Woodland Township at around 6:12 p.m. Investigators said Elk was riding a Suzuki motorcycle near milepost 9.5 when he went off the road and crashed into a tree. Elk was ejected from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remained under investigation.

Wildwood Woman, 75, Killed In Early Morning Garden State Parkway Crash: Troopers A Wildwood woman died after an early morning crash on the Garden State Parkway in Port Republic, authorities said. Audrey McCash, 75, was killed in the crash on Saturday, Sept. 28, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the wreck near milepost 46.6 on the southbound side of the parkway at around 12:26 a.m. Investigators said a Subaru Outback went off the parkway and struck several trees. McCash was rushed to a hospital where she was pronounced dead. The 76-year-old Wildwood man who drove the SUV was injured in the crash. He was expected to survive his injuries. …

Johnny Epperson Jr., 67, died in the crash on Route 206 North in Southampton Township on Sunday, Sept. 15, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the wreck near milepost 23.3 at around 12:37 p.m. Investigators said Epperson was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle when he hit the back of a Honda CR-V. 2 Vehicles Hit, Kill Pedestrian On Garden State Parkway Ramp, Police Say A 46-year-old pedestrian trying to cross an exit ramp off the Garden State Parkway was killed by passing cars over the weekend. Mohammed Uddin was crossing the Exit 123 ramp in Sayreville around 9:45 p.m. Friday, May 31, when he was struck by a Dodge SUV and Buick SUV, heading south near milepost 124.6, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. Uddin, of Old Bridge, was pronounced dead. No other injuries were reported.
