A 22-year-old Piscataway man was sentenced to seven years in prison on Monday, Nov. 18, after he was previously convicted of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl he'd met online in 2021, authorities said. In July 2021, a 12-year-old girl said she was sexually assaulted in Bound Brook by Lenic Galvan, a man she met on social media, Somerset County Prosecutor John McDonald said. South Jersey Man Convinced PA Girl To Send Him Sexual Pics, Videos: Prosecutors
A New Jersey man was accused of getting a Pennsylvania girl to send him naked pictures and sexual videos, authorities said. Fredderico Soda, 29, of Tabernacle, was arrested on Thursday, Nov. 14, Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia Bradshaw said in a news release. The investigation began earlier in 2024 when the county prosecutor's office received a tip about Soda's online activities from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. A Pleasantville man will spend several years in prison for trying to sexually assault a girl in an Atlantic City park, authorities said. Javier Erazo, 21, was sentenced to four years in state prison, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release on Friday, Oct. 25. A Philadelphia man admitted to trying to hire a preteen girl as a prostitute and meet her at a New Jersey hotel, authorities said.
