Undercover Operation: 23 Unlicensed Moving Companies Facing Fines In NJ Totaling $125K, AG Says
Twenty-three unlicensed movers have been issued notices of violation and assessed civil penalties totaling $125,000, New Jersey officials said. Man Asked To Move Trailer Months Before South Jersey Dad Died Crashing Into It, Troopers Say
Police asked a Salem County man to move his trailer several times before a motorcycle rider was killed when crashing into it on the side of a road, authorities said. Peter Pino, 37, died in the crash in Quinton Township at around 10:01 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10. The Elmer man was traveling east on Lawrence Road on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle when he crashed into the back of a Pequea machine trailer parked in the east travel lane.
