Seen Him? Missing Man Last Seen At Plainview McDonald's Authorities are asking for help in locating a missing Long Island man. John Dowling, age 63, was last seen at the Plainview McDonald’s located at 818 Old Country Road, at around 11:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21. He was reported missing an hour later. Nassau County Police said Dowling is 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, with gray hair, a gray mustache, and brown eyes. He was wearing a black sweater and blue jeans. Southern State Double Fatal: 18-Year-Old ID'd As Second Victim In Massapequa Authorities have identified a teenager who was killed in a double fatal crash on the Southern State Parkway. The wreck happened in North Massapequa, in the eastbound lanes near exit 29, at around 8:50 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14. Cargo Truck Hits, Kills 44-Year-Old Man In Baldwin A man died after being struck by a vehicle on Long Island. The incident happened in Baldwin, on Coes Neck Road, at around 6:20 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18. Nassau County Police said a cargo truck was driving near the intersection of Notre Dame Court when it swerved to avoid a car backing into the roadway and struck a 44-year-old man walking on the shoulder. The 48-year-old New York resident, from Long Island's Deer Park, died Monday, Oct. 7, while trying to save a young boy and his mother in the waters of Bermuda. Lambros was enjoying a family vacation at Horseshoe Bay Beach when he noticed the 10-year-old boy struggling and went in after him, his friend, Chris Pompeo, said on Facebook.
