Six corrections officers were indicted after an inmate was pepper-sprayed and forcefully removed from his cell at a Burlington County detention center, authorities said. A grand jury indicted a sergeant and five senior corrections officers for the attack and subsequent coverup, Attorney General Matthew Platkin said in a news release on Wednesday, Oct. 30. Two New Jersey corrections officers were accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a teen at a juvenile detention center, authorities said. A South Jersey healthcare system was accused of discriminating against pregnant patients with a mandatory drug testing policy, authorities said. Attorney General Matthew Platkin has filed a lawsuit against Virtua Health, according to a news release on Thursday, Sept. 26. Ethan Allen is coming to Somerset County. The furniture retailer announced they will be opening a 4,321 square feet showroom at Greenbrook Commons in Watchung, at the site of a former Chase Bank. Greenbrook Commons is also home to Aldi, BJ's Wholesale Club, Buffalo Wild Wings and The Vitamin Shoppe.
