Two Newark teenagers were arrested and charged on Friday, May 9, with stealing vehicles from a home in Secaucus last month, authorities said.
On Wednesday, April 16, a witness alerted officers about a red BMW M3 abandoned in the roadway near Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus police said. The occupants of the vehicle fled and got into a white SUV, police said. At the same time, police received a 9-1-1 call from an Arn Terrace resident who said he witnessed his neighbor's vehicles being stolen from the driveway, police said.

Police in Wayne are asking for the public’s help tracking down two people wanted for shoplifting at a local Walgreens, with a third woman still unidentified, authorities said.
Tiffany Vasto, 34, of Lyndhurst, and John Howlett, 51, of Maplewood, have been charged in connection to a theft at the Walgreens on Valley Road that happened on March 9, according to Detective Capt. Dan Daly of the Wayne Police Department.
