A heartbroken Passaic mother is receiving an outpouring of support after launching a GoFundMe campaign to help bury her 31-year-old daughter who was fatally stabbed inside a Passaic home on Sunday, March 16, authorities said. Man Fatally Stabbed In Newark: Prosecutor
A 37-year-old man was fatally stabbed in Newark on Saturday, March 15, authorities said. Police found Donell Watson at 8:40 p.m. on West Market Street in Newark, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said. He was taken to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead an hour later, authorities said. The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made, authorities said.

A 40-year-old Jersey City man was sentenced to 18 years in prison on Friday, Feb. 21 for fatally stabbing a man at a Jersey City light rail station in 2022, authorities said. An inmate serving time for the brutal Christmas morning murder of a Philadelphia woman has died in a Pennsylvania state prison, officials announced on Friday, Feb. 7. Josue Quino, 38, was found unresponsive in his cell at the State Correctional Institution at Somerset on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2025, according to Superintendent Kenneth Hollibaugh. A 56-year-old East Orange man was fatally stabbed at a ShopRite parking lot in Newark on the evening of Monday, Jan. 27, authorities said. At 7:17 p.m, police responded to 206 Springfield Ave. and found Rodney Mayes stabbed after a verbal dispute with another man, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said. A security guard was stabbed at a nightclub in Newark on Monday, Dec. 30, authorities said. A 32-year-old East Orange man was arrested and charged on Thursday, Dec. 19 after he attempted to stab a crossing guard in Bloomfield with a pen, authorities said. Teen Stabbed In Jersey City: Authorities
A 16-year-old boy was hospitalized after he was stabbed in Jersey City on the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 13, authorities said. At 6:43 p.m., police responded to Bowers Street and Sherman Avenue and found the 16-year-old with a puncture wound to his left middle lower back, Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokesman for the mayor's office said. Man At Large After Stabbing Outside Linden Bowling Alley: Police
A 25-year-old Newark man was stabbed outside a bowling alley in Linden on Friday, Nov. 8, authorities said. At 6:10 p.m., officers responded to Linden Lanes at 741 N.
