Newly Minted Millionaire! Here's Where $1 Million Powerball Ticket Was Sold In NJ
It was a wonderful Wednesday for a Powerball player in Newark, who became a millionaire overnight. A ticket sold in Newark matched five numbers in the Powerball drawing held on Wednesday, Sept. 18, winning $1 million. The ticket was sold at Variedades Ecualatinas on 262 Ferry St. The winning numbers were 1, 11, 22, 47, and 68 and the red Powerball was 7.

A doctor in Cedar Grove had his license revoked after he traveled to dozens of offices in New Jersey and neighboring states to perform invasive aesthetic procedures with inadequate formal training, the State Attorney General's Office announced. Twenty-five landlords are facing fines after state officials said they violated state laws by considering potential tenants' criminal histories. According to NJ Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin and the Division on Civil Rights (DCR), the notices of violation allege that the housing providers violated the law by, among other things, asking criminal history-related questions on housing applications that are prohibited by the law. The family of a Toms River man has filed a lawsuit claiming he was killed by a supplement known by many as "gas station heroin." The suit, filed on Thursday, Sept. 5 by the family of 32-year-old Matthew Cornier, names Neptune Resources, LLC; Super Chill CBD Products; and Hometown Market. Several horses were medically treated after the trailers they were being towed in were struck on the New Jersey Turnpike Tuesday, Sept. 10, firefighters said. A motorcyclist was hospitalized in critical condition following a crash before dawn on Tuesday, Sept. 10 in the Lincoln Tunnel, authorities said.
