Man Fatally Stabbed Robbing Metro PCS Store: Elizabeth PD A man was fatally stabbed while attempting to rob a Metro PCS store in Elizabeth on the evening of Tuesday, Oct. 15, authorities said. An altercation occurred during the attempted robbery and continued outside the Elizabeth Avenue business where the stabbing occurred, Ruby Contreras, a spokeswoman for the city said. The identity of the victim has not been released and the incident remains under investigation, authorities said.
