East Orange Man Charged With Murdering Two In Guttenberg: Police A 40-year-old East Orange man is now charged with double murder following the deaths of two people in Guttenberg last November, authorities said. On Saturday, Nov. 23 at 10 p.m., Guttenberg police responded to 209 S. 71st St and found Justo Bory and Ricardo Bory dead at the scene, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Lamont Cole was originally arrested by Guttenberg police at the scene for interfering with the investigation, Suarez said. Queens Man Gets 15 Years For Fatally Shooting Jersey City Teen: Prosecutor A 20-year-old Queens resident was sentenced to 15 years in prison in the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old Jersey City boy in 2022. In February 2022, Jersey City police responded to 112 Myrtle Ave. and found Devin Bryant, suffering from a gunshot wound, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. He was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital that evening, Suarez said. Justin Goris was 17 at the time he fatally shot Bryant and was charged as a juvenile before being tried as an adult, Suarez said. He pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter in July, Suarez said.

Teen Hid Recording Device Inside Multiple Bathrooms Including Jersey City Mall: Prosecutor An 18-year-old Jersey City resident was arrested and charged on Tuesday, Oct. 1 after police found he hid a recording device inside a public restroom at a local mall, authorities said. A woman discovered the black device while using the family restroom on the first floor of JCPenney at the Newport Mall, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.  The Hudson County Special Victims Unit investigated and identified Andy Cardenas as the person of interest, Suarez said.
