Jake Bongiovi, 23, a New Jersey native and son of music legend Jon Bon Jovi, has adopted a baby girl with his wife, "Stranger Things" star Millie Bobby Brown, the couple announced Thursday, Aug. 21, on Instagram.

A 26-year-old Atlantic City man is charged with 13 counts of animal cruelty after he tortured and killed stray cats, authorities announced on Wednesday, July 9.
Sanabia would lure the abandoned and stray cats in his neighborhood into his residence with food and then tortured, beat and killed them, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said. Sanabia would dispose of the cats by throwing their bodies into a nearby dumpster, said.

Davidson Elian Cruz, a Wallington husband, father, and Motor Vehicle Commission employee, died on Friday, June 27, 2025, just three days before his 24th birthday, according to his obituary on the Alvarez Funeraria website.
He was born June 30, 2001, in the Dominican Republic, the obituary says.

Funeral services are set for Christopher Arsenault, whose devotion to his feline friends right up until the very end has earned him admiration around the world.
