'The Taphouse' In Wayne Closes Abruptly The Taphouse, a popular bar and grille in Wayne, closed suddenly after more than a decade in business. The restaurant's social media pages had been deactivated and a message on its website reads:  "Taphouse is Permanently Closed. We sincerely thank our patrons for your support over the years. It was a pleasure serving you with some of the best beer and food!" It wasn't immediately clear how long it's been closed for.
