Jason Liriano, 25, of Brooklyn–also known as “jay bigfella”–was sentenced to 22 years behind bars in Central Islip federal court on Tuesday, April 29. It followed his September 2023 guilty plea to drug trafficking and firearms charges. ATM Stolen From Maplewood Business: Police An ATM was taken by burglars from a business in Maplewood on Wednesday, Sept. 11, authorities said. Officers responded to a business on Springfield Avenue business and discovered unknown suspect (s) broke into the business and removed the ATM, Maplewood police said. The ATM was found on Springfield Avenue with the cash removed, police said.
