A devoted mother, her greatest joy was her son, Evan Reyes, whom she supported, encouraged, and cheered on every step of the way, according to her obituary on the Vander Plaat Funeral Home website. Friends and family are mourning the heartbreaking loss of Tyler Shea Carbajal, a 19-year-old New Jersey resident whose compassion, wit, and bright smile left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Tyler, of Great Meadows (Warren County), passed away on Sunday, July 6, according to his obituary from the Bronson & McNamara Memorial Home. In front of others, he seemed strong, but “inside he was deeply sensitive, compassionate, and respectful to everyone he met,” the obituary reads.

Chrissy Metz, who played Kate on the hit TV show “This is Us,” is opening up about the power of prayer.
Metz is signing copies of her new children’s book “When I Talk to God, I Talk About Feelings” at Books and Greetings in Northvale on Tuesday, April 8 at 6 p.m.
The picture book is about how faith and prayer can help people handle their emotions, using animals as an example, according to a synopsis.
This is Metz’s second children’s book. In 2023, she published “When I Talk To God, I Talk About You.”
