Memorial visitation for Daniela M. Ghafour will be held Saturday, March 29 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home on Van Houten Avenue in Clifton.

Daniela, affectionately remembered by many as the “Dunkin’ Donuts Queen,” died on Sunday, March 16, her obituary on the funeral home site says. As previously reported by Daily Voice, Daniela was identified by loved ones as the victim of a stabbing in Passaic.

She grew up in Clifton and worked at various Dunkin’ locations in the area starting at age 16, Daniela's obituary continues. Friends say she had a warm smile and a heart for animals — once even catching a wild rabbit to keep as a pet, despite her mother’s disbelief.

Daniela’s obituary notes she is survived by her mother, Rosemarie Mele of Clifton; her daughter, Isabella G. Barr; her brother Peter Bodor and his wife Rachel of Bloomfield and their three daughters; and her uncle Jude Mele and his wife Catherine Galdun. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Carol Ann Eleanore Mele, who passed in January.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Friends of the Shelter in Clifton, where Daniela once volunteered as a teenager.
