Cops ID Motorcyclist Killed In Route 55 Hit-Run Crash (Update) A 62-year-old motorcyclist from Newfield was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Sunday, Sept. 8 on Route 55 in Gloucester County, authorities said. William Baldwin lost control while on his Harley-Davidson on the entrance ramp from Route 40 east at milepost 39.2 in Franklin Township around 3:50 p.m., NJSP Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. Erratic Jet Ski Operator Fled Marine Units At NJ Beach, Cops Say — Now They Want To Find Him A jet ski operator who jetted away from police when they stopped him on Memorial Day Weekend is now being sought by authorities, who are enlisting the public to help. New Jersey State Police Marine Units stopped the operator of an erratic blue Yamaha around 3:20 p.m. on Saturday, May 25 at the bathing beach in Lower Township in Cape May County, the department said.
