A juvenile bicyclist was hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a car on Wednesday, Sept. 18, police in Camden County said. The crash happened just before 6 p.m. at Chews Landing Road near Little Gloucester Road in Gloucester Township, police said. Upon arrival, officers found the injured juvenile in the roadway. The driver, who was uninjured, remained on the scene and cooperated with authorities. The bicyclist was taken local hospital with serious injuries. Teen On Bicycle Suffers Serious Injuries In Pittsgrove Crash, Troopers Say
A teen riding a bicycle was seriously injured when they were hit by a car in Pittsgrove, authorities said. The 14-year-old was struck on County Route 553 on Tuesday, Aug. 27, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the crash near milepost 27.7 at around 11:35 a.m. Investigators said the teen left a parking lot and didn't yield to traffic. The Audi was traveling north and crashed into the bicycle. The teen was brought to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. No one in the Audi was injured. The crash remained under investigation.

A 67-year-old woman was struck by a wayward bullet that was inadvertently fired into her home in Camden County, authorities said. A 51-year-old man from Gloucester City has been arrested for firing the shot during an argument, they said. A 45-year-old man is facing charges after police say he injured two officers at a Camden County apartment complex last week. Police called to the Fairways Apartment Complex in the Blackwood section of Gloucester Township on Monday, Aug. 19 for a disturbance inside an apartment when John R. Marchetti Jr. opened the door of the home and began yelling at officers to leave, police said in a news release.
