Officers Injured By Belligerent Man At Apartment Complex In Camden County: Police A 45-year-old man is facing charges after police say he injured two officers at a Camden County apartment complex last week. Police called to the Fairways Apartment Complex in the Blackwood section of Gloucester Township on Monday, Aug. 19 for a disturbance inside an apartment when John R. Marchetti Jr. opened the door of the home and began yelling at officers to leave, police said in a news release. Thief Crashed Stolen Plane In Jersey Shore Field, Confessed To Burglaries: Troopers A Point Pleasant man was accused of stealing and crashing a plane in Atlantic County, authorities said. Robert Wagner, 42, was arrested in Corbin City on Wednesday, Aug. 7, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to a report of a suspicious man walking out of the woods near Main Street. Troopers found Wagner walking on Route 50 near the intersection of Main Street at around 8:55 a.m. Wagner said he had crashed his plane in a nearby grass field but he was arrested for obstruction after refusing to identify himself. Vineland Man Charged With Break-In At South Jersey Business: Police A 64-year-old man was charged with breaking into a business in Bridgeton, authorities said. David Carty, of Vineland, was charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief, according to Bridgeton police. Carty is accused of breaking into Pastelmex bakery and cafe at 694 N. Pearl St. at about 11 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, police said. He was being held at Cumberland County Jail.
