Two Newark residents and a Maryland man were arrested and charged after a man was stabbed and a woman assaulted at a resort in Atlantic City, authorities announced Wednesday, April 15. Man Charged With Manslaughter In Deadly Millville Stabbing: Prosecutor
A 41-year-old Millville man has been charged in the deadly stabbing of Detyren Hatch, a 35-year-old Millville man, authorities announced Friday, March 6. Benny Dixon stabbed Hatch at Hatch's residence on East Broad Street on Millville on Monday, Feb. 16, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said. Hatch was transported to Inspira Medical Center in Vineland where he was pronounced dead, Webb-McRae said. Dixon is charged with manslaughter and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, Webb-McRae said.

A second man spotted with a gun at Westfield's Garden State Plaza in Paramus last month was arrested nearly 80 miles away in a routine traffic stop, police said. A 17-year-old boy has been charged in connection with the death of his mother, authorities in Atlantic County announced Sunday, Nov. 22. Julissa Serrano, 49, was found with multiple stab wounds just after 6 p.m, Saturday, Nov. 22, after Hamilton Township police were called to the Meadowbrook Condos in Mays Landing, the county prosecutor's office said.
