A man was killed after he fell between a SEPTA train and the platform in Philadelphia, police announced on Wednesday, Jan. 21. Terrell Burton, 41, of the 1600 block of West Allegheny Avenue, died after the crash on the Broad Street Line at 4200 N. Broad St. around 1:30 a.m., according to a preliminary release. A woman was fatally struck by an NJ Transit train in Absecon Wednesday, Dec. 24, authorities said. At 7:03 p.m., Loretta White hit by a train that had departed Atlantic City Terminal at 6:54 p.m. and was scheduled to arrive at Philadelphia 30th Street station at 8:34 p.m., NJ Transit said.
