Tesla is recalling more than 63,000 of its widely criticized Cybertrucks in the latest safety issue for the controversial electric vehicle company. The recall affects 63,619 Cybertrucks from the model years 2024 through 2026, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Tesla is facing another safety investigation over reports that some vehicles' doors can trap children inside, as billionaire CEO Elon Musk reportedly bought about $1 billion of his company's stock. Tesla Driver Killed In Fiery South Jersey Crash, Police Say
A Tesla driver was killed in an early morning crash near Mays Landing, authorities said. Hamilton Township police responded to the single-car wreck on Mays Landing Somers Point Road near the intersection with Ocean Heights Avenue at around 1:35 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 18. Investigators said a 2024 Tesla SUV Model Y left the road, crashed into several trees, and caught fire. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
