5 Overdoses, 1 Fatal In 24 Hours In Cape May County: Prosecutor
Cape May County is grappling with five overdoses over a 24-hour span last week, authorities said.
The overdoses occurred between Thursday, June 11 and Friday, June 12, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland said. One of the overdoses was fatal, authorities said, Sutherland said.
It is not confirmed if there is a connection between the five overdoses, Sutherland said. Law enforcement is seeing adulteration of the street drug supply, specifically suspected heroin and fentanyl, where the overall toxicity is unknown and potentially lethal, Sutherland said. …

Tow Trenton residents were arrested and charged with distributing narcotics in Ocean County following a multiagency investigation, authorities announced Monday, Aug. 25.
On Tuesday, Aug. 5, detectives began surveilling Seption Diggs, 30, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said, observing him meeting with Ahmia Tillery, 26, and enter her vehicle as a passenger.
Diggs and Tillery traveled from Trenton to Jackson Township, where they were stopped by Jackson Township police and taken into custody, Billhimer said.

On Tuesday, July 29, three court authorized search warrants were executed in Atlantic City, Pleasantville and Mays Landing, resulting in the recovery of 7,650 individual bags of heroin, 902 fentanyl pills, more than five ounces of methamphetamine, three grams of cocaine, 123 suboxone films, a loaded handgun, and paraphernalia used in the distribution of narcotics, Atlantic City police said.

Heroin, Cocaine: Pleasantville Man Arrested After K-9 Detects Drugs, AC Police Say
A 33-year-old Pleasantville man was arrested and charged after he was found to be in possession of heroin and cocaine in Atlantic City on Wednesday, June 4, authorities said.
At 4:40 p.m., officers conducted a motor vehicle stop at Kentucky and Drexel avenues, Atlantic City police said. A detective along with K-9 partner, Gee, arrived on scene and Gee detected drugs in the vehicle, police said.
Steven Young Jr. was removed from the vehicle after turning over the narcotics he had concealed in his pants, police said. Additional narcotics were found inside the vehicle, police said.

A Deptford man will spend several years in prison for selling heroin and cocaine, authorities said.
Javier Osorio, 44, was sentenced on Tuesday, Oct. 29 to six years in prison, New Jersey's U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger said in a news release.
