A Trenton man was accused of shooting and killing another man wile he sat in a car, authorities said.
Najir Tripp, 29, was arrested on Sunday, Dec. 29, Mercer County Prosecutor Janetta Marbrey said in a news release. He was facing charges in the shooting death of 44-year-old Michael Jones, also from Trenton.

An Atlantic City police officer has been arrested following an investigation into multiple allegations of domestic abuse involving his wife, the Atlantic City Police Department announced.

The life sentences have been reduced for two New Jersey brothers convicted in a string of violent crimes, including armed bank robberies and a thwarted armored car heist in the late 90s, authorities said.
