Child Airlifted After Struck By Vehicle: Margate PD A child riding an electric powered vehicle was struck by a vehicle in Margate Thursday, May 14, authorities said. At 6 p.m., officers responded to the crash at Jerome and Fulton Avenues, Margate City police said. The child was evaluated by paramedics on scene who directed the juvenile be transported via New Jersey State Police helicopter to Cooper Hospital in Camden for further treatment, police said.
