A New Jersey man who had been employed as a mascot for amusement parks and sports teams including Sesame Place is arrested on accusations he convinced a preteen girl to send him child pornography, authorities said. Jersey Shore Man Had More Than 1,000 Child Porn Images, Prosecutors Say
A Middle Township man was accused of having more than 1,000 images of child pornography, authorities said. Anthony Gilbert, 24, was arrested, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland said in a news release on Tuesday, Sept. 10. Investigators said Gilbert was identified as someone downloading and sharing child porn after a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. A Burlington County man has been arrested on child pornography charges, authorities said. Arthur Pitt, 55, of Willingboro, became the center of an investigation after the BCPO High-Tech Crimes Unit received a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children concerning Pitt’s online activities, Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L.
