Major Airline Tests New Way To Get Food, Essentials Before Boarding At Newark Airport
United Airlines is testing a new service that allows travelers to order food and other essentials without leaving their gate. The airline launched the pilot program at Newark Liberty International Airport on Wednesday, Sept. 2. The service is available on some flights departing from or connecting through up to nine designated gates in Terminal C. Customers can order food, drinks, and travel essentials through the United app and pick up their items at the gate. A child was trapped following a crash between two dump trucks and a school bus that left 12 juveniles injured in Monroe Township Thursday, Sept. 3, authorities said. A commercial dump truck was traveling northbound on N. Tuckahoe Road when it failed to observe the stopped traffic and struck the rear of a passenger vehicle occupied by an adult and three children, Monroe Township police said. A 26-year-old Williamstown man was arrested and charged with exposing himself at Marshalls in Turnersville on Wednesday, Sept. 2, authorities said. At 3 p.m., officers responded to 3501 Route 42 on a report of a man walking through the store with his genitals exposed from his pajama pants, Washington Township police said. The man, who was not identified by law enforcement, was found walking in front of a nearby McDonald's and was apprehended and charged with lewdness, police said.
