Man Hospitalized After BMW Crashes Into Utility Pole: Montgomery PD A man is in stable condition after he crashed into a utility pole on Route 518 in Montgomery on the morning of Thursday, April 3, authorities said. At 7:19 a.m., officers responded to a report of a crash with injuries on Route 518 near Mountain View Road and found a 2012 BMW disabled in the westbound lane, Montgomery police said. The driver, a 39-year-old Princeton man, was traveling east on Route 518 before his vehicle crossed the center lines and left the roadway, crashing into a utility pole, police said. An abandoned gas station at the corner of Route 206 and Route 518 was recently demolished to the cheers of town officials as the excavator crashed through the broken down roof.  “We are glad to finally move forward and see this eyesore removed from Montgomery’s busy commercial gateway,” said Deputy Mayor Vince Barragan. The gas station was demolished after the township filed multiple notices of violation against the property owner, Anton Nader, including visits from the health inspector. See New Walkway That's Making This NJ Town More Pedestrian Friendly Montgomery is about to get a little more pedestrian friendly. The township will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new pedestrian pathway on Skillman Road on Wednesday, Oct. 16.  The half-mile pedestrian pathway connects Otto Kaufman Community Center, Montgomery High School and other neighboring areas.
