Sportscaster Dick Button, NJ Native, Olympic Gold Medalist, Dies Dick Button, the first man to win two gold medals in figure skating at the Olympics, is being remembered as a popular sportscaster after his death at age 95. Button, a longtime New York resident, died at his Ice Pond Farm in Northern Westchester County's North Salem. He was a native of Englewood, New Jersey.
