22-Year-Old Drove Drunk, Caused Head-On Crash: Hackettstown PD A 22-year-old Hackettstown man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a car crash on the afternoon of Wednesday, Oct. 2, authorities said. At 4:56 p.m., officers responded to Bilby Road and Willow Grove Street for a two-car crash, Hackettstown police said. A Honda Accord driven by Nicholas Abato crashed head-on into a Ford pickup, driven by an 18-year-old Stanhope resident, police said.
