Man Threatened To Kill Cop During Traffic Stop: Mendham Township PD A 31-year-old Morristown man was recently arrested and charged with threatening to kill a Mendham Township police officer while he was pulled over for a DWI, authorities said. At 8:30 a.m., officers observed the man making a traffic violation and he was soon arrested and charged with DWI, Mendham Township police said. The man, who was not identified by police, also threatened to kill the police officer during the investigation and was charged with terroristic threats, police said.
