Pursuit In Stolen Mercedes Along Route 17, Parkway Ends In 5 Arrests: Police A pursuit involving a stolen Mercedes-Benz GLE ended in multiple arrests after five suspects attempted to flee police in Paramus early Sunday, Feb, 16, police said. Sgt. Sean Nutland first spotted the stolen 2017 white Mercedes-Benz traveling north on Route 17 near Ridgewood Avenue around 2:50 a.m., according to Paramus Police Chief Robert Guidetti. The Flemington woman was operating a Volkswagen passenger vehicle in the southbound lanes when a spare wheel became dislodged from another vehicle in the northbound lanes around 3:25 p.m. in South Toms River, New Jersey State Police Sgt.
