A Hainesport man was killed when he was hit by a tractor-trailer after his motorcycle crashed into an SUV, authorities said. Johnny Epperson Jr., 67, died in the crash on Route 206 North in Southampton Township on Sunday, Sept. 15, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the wreck near milepost 23.3 at around 12:37 p.m. Investigators said Epperson was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle when he hit the back of a Honda CR-V. William Baldwin lost control while on his Harley-Davidson on the entrance ramp from Route 40 east at milepost 39.2 in Franklin Township around 3:50 p.m., NJSP Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. A Camden County man was killed when his motorcycle crashed on the Garden State Parkway, authorities said. Jason Ball, 46, of Stratford, died in the crash in Tinton Falls on Saturday, July 20, according to a state police spokesperson. Troopers responded to the scene near milepost 103 on the southbound side of the parkway at around 9:37 p.m. Investigators said Ball was taking exit 102 when he lost control of his Harley-Davidson. Police have identified the motorcyclist killed in an Atlantic County crash this weekend as a 59-year-old man. Joseph Stetser, of Absecon, was ejected from his 2006 Harley Davidson after hitting a guardrail on East Moss Mill Road near Sander Place around 12:15 a.m. Sunday, June 23 in Galloway, local police said. A 45-year-old motorcyclist from Camden County was killed in a crash Sunday, June 2, in Gloucester City, authorities said. Christopher R. Chester, of Lawnside, was on the exit 1B ramp from Interstate 76 south to Interstate 295 north at 9:45 a.m. when he lost control of his Suzuki motorcycle, struck a guardrail and was thrown from the Suzuki, New Jersey State Police said. A motorcyclist escaped serious injury in a crash in Burlington County, authorities said. Troopers responded to the crash at 5:42 p.m. on Thursday, May 30 on Chairville Road in Southampton, according to New Jersey State Police. Based on a preliminary investigation a Harley Davidson motorcycle lost directional control and the rider sustained a non-life-threatening injury, State Police said.
