Family On 'Journey Of Bitter Healing' After Mom, Daughter Killed In NJ Home Invasion
A family was rallying for support after a Willingboro mother and daughter were shot and killed in a home invasion. A GoFundMe page was created in memory of 54-year-old Marisol Nunez and her 33-year-old daughter Catherine Nunez. Police found their bodies in an upstairs bedroom of the Harrington Circle home on Wednesday, Oct. 30. Junior Edwards, 37, was charged with two counts of first-degree murder. New Jersey hurdler Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone is cruising right to the gold. The Dunellen native is ten hurdles and one lap around the track from potentially achieving a very rare Olympic feat. McLaughlin-Levrone, who turned 25 on Wednesday, Aug. 7, coasted into the finals of the track and field women's 400-meter hurdles at Paris 2024, dominating her semifinal race on Tuesday, Aug. 6. Man Dies Saving Two Children From Drowning In South Jersey River: Fundraiser
A Mays Landing man was remembered as a hero after dying while saving two children from drowning in the Great Egg Harbor River, according to a fundraising campaign. A GoFundMe page said Pablo Hernandez Cruz died at Weymouth Furnace County Park in Hamilton Township on Wednesday, July 17. He was 49 years old, 6abc Action News reported.
