Woman, 78, Struck By Pickup, Killed In South Jersey Crash: Police An Egg Harbor Township woman was killed while crossing a road on Veterans Day, authorities said. Sharon Parker, 78, died in the crash on Monday, Nov. 11, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to Tilton Road near the intersection with Goldenrod Lane at around 5:59 p.m.  Investigators said a 2015 Ford F-150 was traveling north on Tilton Road. The pickup struck Parker while she was walking across the road. Parker was pronounced dead at the scene. The 55-year-old Hammonton man who drove the Ford wasn't injured. Traffic was detoured away…

The 64-year-old man died in the crash on Friday, Sept. 20, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department said in a news release on Monday, Sept. 23. Officers responded to the wreck on Betsy Scull Road near the Atlantic County Firearms Training Facility at around 11:30 p.m. Investigators said the man was driving a 2017 Can-Am ATV when it struck a utility pole. Substitute Teacher Gave Fake ID At South Jersey Middle School, Police Say An Egg Harbor Township woman was accused of giving false identification when she arrived at a school to be a substitute teacher, authorities said. Katherine MacPherson, 35, was arrested on Monday, Sept. 9, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department said in a news release. Officers received a call from school district security about a female substitute teacher at Alder Avenue Middle School with a seemingly fraudulent teacher identification.
