Three Atlantic City kids were arrested on Monday, Jan. 13, after they stole multiple vehicles in Egg Harbor Township and the surrounding area, authorities said. At 10:20 a.m., officers responded to Heathercroft Condos after a vehicle was stolen from the area early that morning and the suspects were back on scene looking to steal another car, Egg Harbor Township police said. A Cape May Court House man was accused of stealing from about a dozen vehicles, authorities said. William Colbourne, 52, was arrested in the case, the Middle Township Police Department said in a news release. He was charged after about 12 vehicle burglaries were reported in Cape May Court House between Saturday, Aug. 31, and Monday, Sept. 9. On Tuesday, July 9 at about 4 a.m., a burglary suspect was caught on surveillance video trying to break into vehicles in Camden County, authorities said. The first vehicle was locked but he then successfully broke into three unlocked vehicles, Gloucester Township police said on Thursday, July 11. The incident captured on video happened off of Johnson Road, police said. An armed Clifton homeowner confronted and apparently scared off a group of vehicle thieves by firing a gunshot into the air, authorities said. Fugitive Caught With Stolen Vehicle In South Jersey: Police
An Atlantic County man was accused of driving a stolen SUV, authorities said. Martes Robinson of Egg Harbor Township was arrested on Saturday, May 18, the Northfield Police Department said in a news release.
