Man Stabbed, Woman Airlifted In Bridgeton Assault, House Fire: Police Two people were hospitalized after a stabbing and a house fire in Bridgeton, authorities said. Bridgeton police responded to a 27-year-old man who arrived at Inspira Hospital on the afternoon of Saturday, Oct. 5, the department said in a news release. Officers learned the man was an assault victim suffering from "non-life-threatening" stab wounds. Investigators said the stabbing happened in a home on the 100 block of Oak Street.
