Pedestrian Killed, Vehicle Flees In Egg Harbor Township: Police A pedestrian was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash on the Black Horse Pike Tuesday night, Feb. 18, Egg Harbor Township police said. Officers responded to the crash around 8 p.m. in front of the Economy Inn in the West Atlantic City section of the township, authorities said. The driver took off, and police are still working to identify both the pedestrian and the vehicle involved. The westbound lanes of the Black Horse Pike are shut down as the investigation continues. Pedestrian Struck, Killed On Route 38 In Cherry Hill A pedestrian was struck and killed on Route 38 in Cherry Hill, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 11 p.m. on Friday, July 26, according to the New Jersey State Police fatal statistics web page. Route 38 westbound was closed between Haddonfield Road and Chapel Avenue, according to Cherry Hill police. No other details were immediately available.

The crash occurred at about 2:30 a.m. Thursday, June 20 on Erial Road by Blackwood Clementon Road, police said. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and is currently receiving medical treatment for serious injuries.
