Firefighters responded to the two-story house on Redwood Avenue in the Villas section of the township at around 1:41 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1, the Villas Fire Company said in a news release. First-arriving crews saw heavy flames coming from the top floor of the home. Firefighters found fire on an outside deck spread into the attic. Anthony Gilbert, 24, was arrested, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland said in a news release on Tuesday, Sept. 10.  Investigators said Gilbert was identified as someone downloading and sharing child porn after a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
